Linda Groen

The art of Linda Groen (1972) guides the spectator to a visionary world of poetic irrealism, by times slightly erotic, by times revealing a sense of humour.

Using bright colours and strong compositions, Groen creates a magical realm in which dream and reality have blended according to a logical scheme. Butterfly ladies, legendary creatures, cats, cows and crystal balls, they all play a part in the language of images, that symbolism is.

Since 1995 Linda Groen exhibits her paintings in art galleries and during art projects both in the Netherlands as well as abroad. Paintings were purchased for collections in the Netherlands, Germany, France, England, Denmark, Russia and the United States of America.
